INTRO WELCOME

You may be wondering, what inspired me to write this book and share it via the Internet? It's a life-long passion that I've had for trains that I nurtured even as a child.  I vividly remember playing on the railroad tracks with the locomotive barreling down the rails at unpredictable speeds.  Of course, I would always clear the tracks in plenty of time so as to repeat the adventure... something I spent much of my childhood doing.  Waving at the engineer and getting a response!  Wow, life didn't get any better than that.  Little did I know that one day I would commandeer the engine and saddle up as the engineer.  This is the exciting story that I would like to share in the 15 chapters of my book.
